In addition to working investors who usually become partners in our firm, we also accept project-specific, third-party investments. These are often the result of a specific development request from clients i a field or industry we have little or no experience with. As an example, somebody needs logistics and planning support to manage cattle ranches. Rather than burdening the client with the complete cost of development of a once-off package, we try to find investors that will share the burden of our development costs when we design a system that not only meets the specific requirements of the client in question, but also qualifies with minor modifications to become an 'off-the-shelf' product for sale to the cattle breeding industry as a whole. |

In these cases, investors that have a working knowledge of the field or industry in question (i.e. in example it would be cattle breeding) are offered a partnership in the firm upon completion of the project, while investors without working knowledge or training in the field would participate in the development specific licensing fees from all packages sold to the industry. Usually the investors' share in terms of percentages can reach as high as 70% of all licensing income from a specific package or system. |
